We are providing music enrichment for our children 2 years to 5 years of age and Drama for our School Age Children. Ms. Kathleen McCarthy-Udoff bring with them many years of experience and education in both music and drama. Over the school year and during our summer/camp program they will be working in conjunction with the children to present shows to our families over the holidays and for graduation. Here is a brief introduction.

Little Friends School is happy to welcome Ms. Kathleen to our staff. She will be enriching our children’s education by providing drama lessons.

Kathleen McCarthy-Udoff

Kathleen is an "outreach arts in education teacher" in theater and creative writing. She travels to various schools bringing her courses to children and adults. She teaches drama at Concordia College's Summer Enrichment and The Creative Arts Camp at Hackley School. She holds a Master of Arts degree from Manhattanville College, N.Y. and a Bachelor of Arts from S.U.N.Y. Purchase, N.Y. She has received accolades for her writing and theater projects with children combining art and creative writing. Her mixed media project titled: "If I Were President" was shown at The N.W.C.A. Gallery and exhibited at the Washington Irving School In Sleepy Hollow, N.Y.

Her students writing and drama project- "My Words Project -September 11th." received an honorable mention. Kathleen's drama classes bring children together, to perform and most of all, to have fun. She encourages children to build on their own ideas and scripts in acting. She comments, "Kids have wonderful stories to share. It is vital for children to communicate and be able to find their own voice. The arts are a wonderful bridge to that discovery."
